LATIN PROGRAMS

We believe professionals everywhere deserve to have world class tools and training. That goal leads our work. Now days, thanks to the web any program is promoted globally; and as more and more organizations are seeking for global perspective, year by year, the international attendance to our programs has been growth, in a clear demonstration that education needs are global.

One noticeable fact is the low participation of Latin American students in these programs. It is low according to our GNP & Profession Growth Index by country, and taking in account QM has been made strong efforts in Education with our partners in the Latin region it was more noticeable. Finding out causes of this low attendance, we found two main reasons: difficulties for travel to US and language.

The travel issue is a general difficulty for all overseas attendants. Each day it is more difficult to leave the work for two or three weeks in order to attend trainings, no matter how good qualified is the program.

In the language area, we found that Latin professional have good reading skills but are not confident with its listening and speaking. Analyzing that issue with our Latin partners, we fount that to be successful, they use our same materials and books – in English – but, the sessions are run in Spanish language, with excellent results.

With these inputs, we structured a new area focus in offer world class training, in Spanish language, in the country of the attendant, leaded by international Instructors. These programs are structured to be offer in two days sessions, usually Friday and Saturday, biweekly, spread out over three months. During the two weeks between class sessions, you are expected to prepare cases and readings. You are also asked to use the intervening weeks to reflect on the material discussed in the previous class and to relate in to your jobs. You have the opportunity to share new insights with your class colleagues and faculty at the meetings. The result is a blend of classroom concepts and day-to-day experience – a powerful combination that greatly enriches the learning processes.

We really hope these programs be helpful to increase the competitively of our organization by means of great qualified professionals.
